My family has owned two properties managed by them. Our subdivision in Cascade Idaho is currently in uproar over decisions made by this management company and the board. About 40 homes have voiced their outrage over the way the subdivision has been managed with particular problems with the property management company not insisting on permits for required construction projects ( allowing the board full rein), nepotism in choosing contracts, and failure to provide overtime for a beloved caretaker who worked tirelessly for the subdivision including all holidays for 5 years. Property management companies should provide professional and ethical counsel to board members because board members do not necessarily have the qualifications to make appropriate, legal, and code compliant decisions. In this subdivision Property Management did not fulfill this role.
