Alright, the tubing experience was pretty cool, but their customer service is HORRIBLE and for that, I won't return with my family. I purchased 6 2-hr tubing tickets and went to use them today and was almost turned away because it was so busy. Admittedly, it's a busy time, this was my first time going there and I'm not familiar with the etiquette at a ski lodge to begin with. But, when you purchase the tickets as I had, online in a bulk of 6, you don't get to choose a time slot. So, I didn't realize that you have to basically risk going at certain times or else you are turned away. Maybe there was some fine print I missed regarding this provision, but I'm going to declare that to be a ridiculous policy regardless, which wasn't communicated very clearly when I got them. They shouldn't be sold in that aspect if you're going to risk getting up there to he turned away. We were obviously told we couldn't use them, at least until 4 pm (4 hours after we arrived). However, even if we stayed that long, if the time slots filled up, we would have still been S.O.L. because they won't reserve you a time slot, even though you bought the tickets...another reason to justify my reasoning as to why this policy is absurd. I had asked if there's anything that could be done and the 2 women at the counter were dismissive of course because well, they already had my money on the passes anyway, so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was one of the rudest I have ever encountered...I was told her name is Shannon btw. Anyway, I asked for a refund if we couldn't use the passes. I know that's against their policy, but was disappointed at how we were clearly being an inconvenience and the fact that we drove an hour and a half to not use what I had purchased. She says to me condescendingly, these were a gift - I am NOT refunding you money for a gift. Excuse me...first off, watch your tone and secondly, don't make assumptions...I bought them myself and had the receipt in my hand! I asked to speak to her Supervisor and then had to argue with her because apparently her Supervisor would only tell me the same thing, but she eventually left and spoke to someone. Maybe 5 or more minutes later, she comes back and snaps - are you looking to go now. I said yes and she disappears for a minute. She comes back and slams our passes on the desk and says, here! I responded that she doesn't have to be rude and she had the audacity to say you don't be rude! Strikes 1 & 2 right there! Strike 3 was when the worker at the bottom of the small hill says to my 9 yr old son "Are you blind? Move!" because he was a little disoriented upon getting up at the bottom of the hill from spinning and didn't move fast enough. Mind you, he was far from being a danger to anyone. That same worker was screaming at people like a lunatic to use their feet when they were going too fast down the hills. I get that it was chaotic, but NEVER, EVER, EVER again will I spend $ at an establishment that excuses that kind of ruthless customer service! That was ridiculous to say the very least.
