I've visited many retail stores and this was your typical experience or lack of. There were so many associates standing around and none of whom approached me to see if I needed anything. I then proceeded to the downstairs area and was finally approached by a gentlemen who asked if I needed help. I politely declined, but shouldn't all reps do that especially when your not busy and see a customer/opportunity? And yes I made a purchase prior to being helped. The concept of treating customers like family or putting oneself in another person's shoes is unfortunately a lost art.
