Amazing bronze age archeological site. Don't forget to visit the tomb of Clytemnestra at the base of the site (I noticed many visitors missed it completely). If you have time also visit the Treasury of Atreus which is at a separate site down the hill. The citadel itself is very impressive from a distance and the iconic gates are a wonder.

Site is very easy to get to, with a large parking lot across the road from the site. Don't forget to see the incredible Mycanean objects found at the site (including the Mask of Agamemnon) at the National Archeological Museum in Athens.
