We had a child and weren't able to go to the gym; they said no problem, they'd put our account on hold. They did, and charged us $15/month anyway. That was maddening (they said they wouldn't charge us since we weren't using their services during that period).

The real kicker though was when we decided it was overpriced and decided to quit. They make us pay through that month, and then the FOLLOWING month as well! TWO FULL MONTHS of us not even able to use the facilities (which were good, at least at the Del Norte gym). With this treatment I can say without hesitation that I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's a dishonest business.
