I hated the location in a Wet & Wild Waterslide park.
Nice before supper activities with headband making, tattoos, coconut display, and drinks.
A big deal was made when taking a roasted pig out of the ground oven. But when we went to eat, there was no pork from that pig to eat!? Ok, there was some pulled pork, but that was not hot. So clearly not from the pig. Pig seemed to be only for display. :(
All the food was cold and just ok flavour.
During supper there was a band playing then they took a break from playing. Why? We went dinner music!
Not enough dancing. The Chief talks too much.
We came for dancing and the beauty of the cultural dances.
For the last 30+ minutes more and more audience members were invited on stage to dance, or to celebrate honeymoons. This took up too much time. I don't want to watch audience members try and dance! Over 20 people shaking is not what I paid over a $100 a ticket for.
I am so sad I went to this Luau. It is so expensive that it's not like i can drop another $400 for different Luau. Yes, over $440 for our family of 2 adults and one child.
Worst $400 spent in our lives.

Only positive was transportation to and from location.

We also could not take photos or see much of the stage during the performance due to the amount of audience members standing and holding their phones up for photos THE WHOLE time!
