8th Grade Rec Basketball Coach would bench kids for the first half if they missed practice. Practice was Friday night and not changeable and we did not receive practice times until after teams were assigned. Management feels it is appropriate in this rec league for coaches to bench kids for half the game if their parents can't accommodate the practice date and time Marv Jenson Assigned. My son does not even want to play now after having to sit out half of each game. Ended up reassigning my kid to another team mid-season. Hopefully I can keep him excited to play moving forward
