I used to really enjoy this zoo. Seems to be geared up towards the hotels and paid accommodation these days. Safari trucks were apparently not running, but saw them running only for people staying there. Which made it feel like a two tier experience. Also petrol fueled buggies zooming past which frankly isn't safe in some areas of the park. Also only available if staying there. Think we saw the least amount of animals ever this time. Not sure if half of the animals actually exist in the enclosures!
Trying to exit the place was pretty stressful when trying to observe social distancing. The only way we could get out was through the gift shop, one lane which people were queuing to buy gifts! There should be a clear space to exit! One narrow area for the entire place where people are paying for items is not good enough these days!
Also just realised that we literally weren't able to see half of the animals that are on the map as we are not staying there!! Buggy routes only, or truck route (safari)!!! Think you should be told this before buying a day ticket!!!
