We received a call the DAY before our trip to let us know that our two reservations (made two months before--one for the next day and one for 6 days later) had been cancelled. Cars break down, but that's still poor customer service. And you can't even get me another car for in SIX days!?

On a side note: Because the reservation was made through a third party (Travelocity), I was asked to "cancel" my own reservation as Carmel wouldn't. Also poor customer service.
