My family stayed here about 2 weeks ago.
Originally I called doubletree and to better accomodate our needs we were referred over to the embassy. Worst hotel experience.
We came in hours after checkin and the room still was not ready, was told they were running behind and the room was still being cleaned. I was not informed of the fees and deposit until I was asked to swipe my card and I asked her about the big price difference. The clerk informed me of a deposit but was not able to tell me the exact price she said it was either 30 or 40 dollars that would be used for vallet parking or any other fees upon checking out. Days after checking out I was charged the whole amount and then charged seperate for vallet parking. The inside pool was also down and that was the reason we didnt stay at the doibletree. My daughter was looking foward to swimming. The next morning after breakfast she got ready to swim before we checked out, The pool was still closed. The elevators were so slow we had to take the stairs the whole stay. The breakfast service was caotic, it was so many people in line and after standing in line there were nasty tables and no where to sit.
We dined in to Ruth Chris that night best thing going for that hotel!
