I paid Home Depot $150.00 to get an estimate from Valley Countertops. They treated me very poorly. They would not let me speak with the person making decisions on seam placements on the granite countertops I wanted. They discouraged me on getting granite. I found out later they don't have someone able to service Vancouver Island clients with granite products. That is why they encourage you to buy quartz. They make you feel like you owe them. I received an unsolicited reduced quote from them a week after they provided their original quote. I had already realized they inflated my square footage to increase my price. I paid someone else locally more money to do the job as I expected it to be done with the materials I wanted. Good luck Jaqueline! Do yourself a favor stay away not worth the aggravation!!
