parent was taken to MV after a serious surgery for subacute care. she was left alone in the room in her bed for hours. when she needed meds called for aid, very slow - we had to call. we also had to call for help with her bed. beds are very antiquated and so are the rooms. later an aid yelled at my mom and told her to stop calling her family for help - can you believe!? also, there are NO PHONES to be sure to bring a cell. thank god we did. she had pains and was scared. she asked for an ambulance, they said they didn't have one. she called 911 and never looked back. i would not go there. I also noticed some elderly people sitting in wheelchairs in the hallway when she originally arrived asking for help and no-one on the staff paid attention to them. scary.
