Called them due to what I suspected was a bad blow...

Called them due to what I suspected was a bad blower on my AC unit, after finding them on carrier's website. The technician did all his checking and followed covid guidelines, and confirmed what i suspected. The major issue I have is what they said the cost of repair ; it was 1.7k. Which would of covered the price of a new unit. I ended up repairing it myself for no more than 400 dollars and 30 minutes of my time. if I was willing to wait for the part I could of gotten it almost half that. long story short; disappointed with the price they quoted me, because I feel it was grossly out of proportion to what the actual cost should of been.
