Everyone who works at the Catamaran is super pleasant. Some aspects, like the tub, may show a little wear, and one screen door didn't close properly. The robes and towels make up for that. The bay view is amazing. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor koi pond. There are five or six exotic birds (like parrots) in the garden that can be seen at any time, and an informative, relaxed "meet the birds" presentation every afternoon. There are beautiful ducks on the grounds as well. Every evening you can take a paddleboat, the Bahia Belle, from the Catamaran pier to their other property, the Bahia. There are boats and bikes to rent, at reasonable rates. There are chaises under umbrellas along the beach. There is a restaurant, a bar and a really good coffee shop. You can essay or drink, it just relax at outdoor tables. There are also a few fire pits with plush seating around them. Just a great place. So glad we went back again.
