My first semester at Brookline has been filled wit...

My first semester at Brookline has been filled with stress and tears. Not because my instructors are not amazing or because the courses are too hard, but all due to their poor communication in their financial aid department. I have been told one lie after another. I was originally told 30-45 days after the start of my classes for my financial aid to hit and get my disbursement check. I was then informed, after emailing multiple people over multiple weeks, that the money would not hit until July 1st (60 days after the start of school). It has now been 2 months and I am 5 weeks away from the end of my first semester and I have not received anything. Money FSA has officially hit, but they have forgot to take off my tuition discount and other mistakes have been made. I am now receiving a quarter of the money in hopefully 1-2 weeks, but the rest will be received god knows when. With COVID causing loss of jobs and pay cuts this money is more important than ever. I wish Brookline and their staff understood that these are not just numbers on a screen, but rather someone's rent, electric and food on their table. This is not a review on this professors, clinical instructors or clinical staff, but just a review on their poor communication in their financial aid department.
