edit: So, I decided to completely change my review after working a bit longer with VelaPoint. As it turns out, the person who had agreed to help me get coverage ended up completely cutting contact with me and didn't respond to my calls/emails. He had said in an email that he would upload my proof of insurance covering ending with my previous insurance company and he never did that, which then led me to not receive the coverage I needed for the only month that I needed it. In the end I 100% regret trusting Jesse because he genuinely seemed like a nice guy, and probably is, but he completely dropped the ball and made my overall experience with VelaPoint extremely negative. I left my original review below so you can contrast how I felt when I originally worked with VelaPoint to where I'm at now.

I had an odd circumstance of only needing health coverage for one month and was unsure if I would be able to find an appropriate plan. I called VelaPoint Insurance and spoke with Jesse who was not only helpful, but kind and informative. I left knowing what coverage I was getting, why I was getting it, why other plans wouldn't have worked, and just a general feeling that someone actually cared. I couldn't recommend VelaPoint enough, as if you couldn't already tell from my review that reads like it was written by a marketing team, and I will be recommending anyone to use their services in the future.
