Today, I paid $272 in the ER to be told that my antibiotics for spider bites were working and that they couldn t do anything for me. I had been referred by my primary physician and by Doctors Care. After being there for about 25 minutes, I was told that I had gotten bad medical advice and that the $272 was the fee for using the facility.
