Our house is from the 1950s so it had those classic (but awful) single pane windows with the drop down chain that opens the window from above. All the little panels were a pain to clean and occasionally one would break from furniture or who-knows-what.

We finally had enough of it and decided to replace most of the important ones.
I cannot believe how much heat we were losing through our windows! Ridiculous! I am so happy to have the new ones that open properly and seal up completely.

The Heart House crew was great. Our house was a little cluttered but they were really courteous and professional.
