When State Farm wrote the slogan, Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there , they must have had Byron Eckols in mind! My home was flooded last year in the devastating Memorial Day flood that hit Wimberley. Byron showed up right away to help and brought with him several other State Farm agents that work in the surrounding towns. They went to work immediately moving damaged items from the house and pulling up ruined flooring to prevent mold from setting in, things I couldn t have done alone. Due to his quick response and attention to detail, a FEMA adjuster showed up at my home within a few days after the flood. I credit his swift actions to my being able to rebuild my home so rapidly. He is a great insurance agent and a true hero in my book!
