Not having to deal with I-70 was extremely enjoyable and may be best part of skiing here. The mountain has a non-Colorado feel to it (besides of course the views of some major peaks) due to the lack of substantial snowfall. The runs were SLICK. Just sheets of ice. Lack of snowfall and always high winds will do that in this area of Boulder County.

But there's a good amount of black runs and even decent steeps for such a small mountain. It would be great skiing, considering the close proximity, if there was more snowpack. Then again the mountain would likely be swamped, so slick conditions is not the worse trade off. Also, seems like the mountain could benefit if they created more runs on the western/advanced side because the glades were pretty tight and sometimes unskiable with such icy conditions.

As everyone already knows, great for families. But they had a dj playing house at the Lookout on the ridge so that was a cool dill
