A true stepping stone to Vermont! I have skied here a handful of times and always had a great experience!

(Midweek)

Parking was quick, free and easy.

Hunter offers alot of space to dress and put your gea on with plenty of locker space. Bathrooms were surprisingly pretty clean and kept. The mountain is huge with 2 peaks ( expanding soon ) one peak dedicated to easy/ moderate and the other advanced.

The staff were pleasant to deal with inside and on the slopes!

The views are breathtaking and the slopes are of good length! Being midweek and slower in business suprisingly the food was hot and appeared freshly cooked! The lodge looked clean and well kept with alot of tables and eating space. Gift shop was decent but priced a bit high compared to local shops.

I recommend purchasing season passes, this year we bought multi mountain passes good at 7 or 8 mountains including Hunter a few mountains in PA, VT and NH (check their site for more information). Much better then a single mountain season pass and for only a few bucks more . I signed up in April 2017 and payed $100 down and 3 or 4 installments of $50 per month, a small price to pay for weekly sking in the entire north eastern part of the country.

Overall a great experience, much higher, longer and more difficult compared to poconos, pa or mountain creek. Looking forward to many more visits
