Dishonest company false advertising and wasn t authorized by me at all to solicit my credit threw Equifax CANADA taking my credit score from excellent to a lower score. I was watering my grass when I was approached by ALEXANDER JOHNSTON and he promised he can secure my house and link an outdoor camera that can be viewed from my smart tv and I agreed to his service but on the day of installation I asked the installer before he started to install if he was going to link my Smart TV to the Camera and he said we don t do that so I said sorry your manager provided me with false advertising and I wouldn t allow the installation because they lied to me. I have Credit Alert protecting me 24 hours a day and I received an email alert of notification that my credit was checked by ADT and I was shocked because never in my life anyone not even my mortgage company would do that without askIng for my consent in person face to face or on the phone. I Called ALEXANDER JOHNSTON very upset about why he did such a thing without asking for my permission and he didn t care that I lost good credit rating after his check and we argued and he hung up his phone. He then called me back and said read the fine print in the back of the contract he made me sign. I told him I ve dealt with many people who always ask if they can perform a credit check because each credit check lowers your score and takes 3 years to get back up there and who reads the fine print when your being such a friend to me in person telling me lies then you back stab me on day of installation with a service you can t provide.and expect me to just take. So people if you plan on buying something and you need credit, you can doubt after ADT does a hard credit check they will smash your credit score that will negatively reflect who you really are. I told ALEXANDER he s a bad business and I m gonna share my honest and true experience with a photo to prove what he s done along with his false advertising advertising.
