I was on the phone with a representative of Beachbody for more than 50 minutes this morning for something trivial. The credit card I had on-file with Beachbody was canceled after card company discovered some suspicious activity. A new card (same card different number) was sent out but has not yet arrived yet. Since I'm signed up for monthly shipments of Shakeology, an automatic charge is placed on my card monthly but the transaction was not successful this month for that reason. An "action required" email was sent to me which included a number I was supposed to call and so I did. At the very beginning of the conversation, I made it clear that all I wanted was to update my credit card info, so that I can continue to receive my monthly shipment of Shakeology. Any other company would have done just that in a matter of seconds and I'd be off to work on time. For some reason, this representative kept acknowledge that he understood what I wanted but kept trying to solve problems that didn't exist. We went through different sections of membership - reinstatement/cancellation and I just kept repeating that all I wanted was to update my credit card information. At around the 48 minute mark, I think he finally did what I asked. My fingers are crossed that he actually successfully completed the trivial task, so I will be watching my credit card transaction history very closely in the coming weeks!
