After hearing such fantastic reviews of Leftovers ...

After hearing such fantastic reviews of Leftovers we decided to give it a try. It was Friday night about 7:30pm and the place was really busy (which is usually a good sign!). It took about 25 minutes for us to get a table for 2 and while being seated in the front area waiting we had the unfortunate luck of hearing about a parties horrible service. I was hoping it was just an isolated situation but once we were seated, in the far back corner in almost too close proximity to both tables on either side of us we had waited for about 10 minutes before someone gave to greet us. I know it was busy so I understand but the service just seemed to get worst as the night went on. The table next to us had their meal switched with a table on the other side of them, and my food came out semi-cold - I ordered the Indoroni. Long story short we ended up boxing up our food because the atmosphere was a little squishy and uncomfortable as the table next to us had small children and we were sharing a booth so the bouncing was making it a little unenjoyable. I don't know if i would give them another shot, I think there is really so many great restaurants in this area that I feel like the saying " You only get one chance to make a great first impression ". On another note, i heated up my Indoroni the next day and it tasted much better "leftover" than it did the day before. I think maybe their cheese sauce needs to "sit" to blend in all the flavors.
