We booked for 2 nights through our agency:
1st booth arrival:
First of all, the larger booked superior room is already allocated elsewhere - but this is not communicated to us - instead with an "upgrade" us a supposedly better because larger room offered. Haken: The shower is in the open, "protected" by a wall at belly button height overlooking the large garden, which is also visited by many other guests ...
That being said, it's winter in SA right now, and with outdoor temperatures around 13 degrees in the morning, an outdoor shower is more for "hard-boiled" ...
The agreement negotiated with the help of our agency - a night in a tiny superior room and a day later change to the freed up larger superior room - we assume, especially since the receptionist promises the manager for a "compensation" in the form of a dinner or at least a bottle of wine. As of now (9:42 pm) neither the one nor the other has been offered.
In addition, a lack of "on the Internet" TV in this room, the "reception water" is in a disgusting decanter and the toilet is broken (continuous running of the water).
Furthermore, the impression of the room is:
It looks unclean and run-down, the "reception flowers" are long since withered.
We are looking forward to the "silent" change of the room tomorrow during our day trip ....
2 day
The night before we were eating out, probably for this reason, no further contact on the part of the management.
