Luccioni Anne Sophie Review of Theatre National de Toulouse

An interference worthy of the worst amateurism. It is indisputable legitimacy on the part of a director or a theater to prohibit leaving a room during a play. It is still necessary to inform the public.
The spectators who had the misfortune to go out during the first half hour of the play to go to the toilets were refused a return to their place in the room. A recurring situation since the first days of representation according to the statements of some employees of the place.
Reason given: Mouawad's desire to limit the migrating flows of spectators during this play lasting 4 hours (2 parts of 2 hours), but without any prior announcement to the public from the theater!
Result: an hour and a half to wait in the theater without personal belongings (left at the foot of its place of course), with the excuse from the staff of not being able to place you back on the balcony, the latter being full. As a pseudo compensation, the offer of a credit for another piece of the season.
Respect to the openers at the forefront of the shots sent by the discontented and to the bar staff who were kind enough to give credit while waiting to be able to recover my personal belongings during the intermission.
Ineligible.
