Very nice buildings, offices, labs and landscaping. I worked as a temp and desperately was applying to several full time positions I m qualified for but get auto rejected even after having my manager put in a good word to the hiring manager. Eventually my contract ended and that was it.

I wouldn t recommended working as a temp for Abbott hoping it will payoff later. Other companies I ve seen temps promoted and it works out for everyone. As a full time employee Abbott looks like an amazing place to work.

I m a Chemist/Chemical Engineer so it s not like I m completely unqualified to work here. HR got upset I gave them a heads up I was interviewing elsewhere for full time (before I even accepted) positions and I even stated I was applying to Abbott positions as well. I don t know why they would get upset at you for trying to be more than a temp forever.
