I have never experienced a medical corporation like this and I've been working in the medical field for over 30 years. Being a physician, I would NEVER say a negative thing about a fellow colleague or a facility but....... MY GOD!!!!! As a patient, I was not impressed. I initially went to your walk in and I was told, "we don't do follow-up care and you need a follow up". SERIOUSLY!!!!!! I went to the ER with the same name ( I just moved here, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt) and that was worse than the walk in. One of the nurses actually said to me," You moved here with your issue and didn't have a Dr?". I think my expression said it all, she immediately closed her mouth. Finally, the Dr came in......I explained, I had a pounding headache and I'm completely exhausted..... I need a refill on a medication also. The 1st thing he said to me, " What type of insurance do you have....it won't cover this". I knew then, I was in serious trouble. I have excellent insurance and can you help me. He said he could write me a script and I said, "well, I'm not feeling well, could you do blood work and a UA?
Interestingly enough, my blood work was thru the roof, I'm assuming the ER Dr called a Specialist because before I knew it, I was going for an ultrasound. Medically speaking, I would have admitted a patient with those results but, what do I know. The last thing the Dr said to me in a condescending tone, " Where do you work?" . I was given a script and paperwork and sent home. WHERE DO I WORK? Oh, yeah, he gave me a referral! Here, I'm walking out of this place wondering if my insides are going to SHUT DOWN and he wants to know where I work.

St. Alexius, please don't respond, there is absolutely nothing you could say to me to recover from this travesty. I see patient satisfaction survey(s) mean absolutely nothing to you.
