I had a new Bosch greenstar 15ri installed in May 2013. Unfortunately this year in its 7th year water was pouring out of it due to a faulty heat exchanger. My heating was turned off as the water was running onto the electrics below. I phoned Worcester was told by Laura that parts are guaranteed by them for 10 years from installation. They could supply a new part free of charge but it would take 2 days to arrive. Could I wait a further 2 to 3 days for it to arrive. NO. I AM A 72 YEAR OLD PENSIONER WHO HAS BEEN WITHOUT CENTRAL HEATING OR HOT WATER FOR 2 DAYS!!!! Charley Mae who I spoke to after speaking to a gas registered engineer said the only thing they could do was send me a replacement part in the next two days. They couldn't offer me any compensation for the fact that their part was faulty after 7 years what a shame this is that their customer could not be helped in any way apart from leaving me getting colder by the minute because of their faulty part. I think this company has lost touch with its customers as the gas engineer who got me a part quicker than they could .hebrought from his supplier who brought it from Worcester Bosch in the first place. Couldn't they offer to reimburse me as I'm cold angry at such bad customer service or are they more interested in there shareholders than me.
