A chill place for drinks with friends with a good view of Harbor bridge and Opera House. The place was a fun hangout in the city-other than the bartender who rudely told us he did not want pictures of him taken (even after we clearly told him we were taking pictures of our drinks and he was not in the pictures at all). It wasn't about so much about what he said, rather how he said it. I think he could have been polite. If you don t want to ruin your party vibes, refrain from taking photos anywhere near the bar-stay away especially from the tall bald bartender who seems to dislike Asian people!
Update: I was happy to receive a response from the owner regarding my review saying,
Hi Drishti,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback about your experience. We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we don't have a tall bald bartender working at Opera Bar & you have mistaken us for Opera Kitchen who is a separate business to us right next door. This happens quite often as people perceive us to be the one business due to the similar names. We do hope you can visit us at Opera Bar soon and we would be more than happy to pose for any photo you would like to take as all our staff welcome the opportunity.

I just checked their official website (Opera Bar) and the picture of their bar which they have posted there is the same as the one we went to in February 2019 (I had posted a photo of the bar with our drinks earlier and have posted an additional one with our exact location at the bar). I also checked the official website of Opera Kitchen and that was definitely not the place we went to, so still not convinced there. Maybe I was wrong about which bartender it was because it was dark. Nevertheless, appreciate the response :)
