Large and well-stocked hardware store. In the entrance area there is a bakery including a cafe and the usual snacks. The price level of the hardware store tends to be at the upper level. Usually enough staff present and good advice possible. The hardware store is often completely overcrowded due to the proximity to Switzerland and the associated high purchasing power. On Saturdays you should know exactly what you need because there are significantly fewer staff and these are mostly temporary jobs (subjective impression). I find the regulation that the shopping baskets MUST be handed in at the checkout as extremely customer-unfriendly. I recently had 14 items for about 150 which I would have had to carry to my car or the "opportunity" to buy a bag. I decided to get a bag out of the car and walk the path twice. It is clear to me that the "finding away" of the baskets should be prevented, but I think there are better solutions for this. The customer toilets are clean and the cleaning schedule is understandable.
All in all almost alternative and unrivaled in this area.
