If you're considering this college then let's be honest you aren't spoilt for choice so let's look at the pros and cons.

Pros - Green and vast campus with good infrastructure, good placement opportunities(10 lacs or above, very limited, only 10% get it) in CSE branch only, as mentioned by others a place of "romance"(pro or con depends on what you're looking for and can manage without loosing track of other important things).

Cons - College has a Odiya central staff policy which greatly reduces the quality of available professors(almost no one has significant published work, but there are always exceptions), the student strength is too much for the infrastructure and staff to manage, opportunities are far too rare(avg package in CSE is 3.5 - 4.5 lacs), college is in a slow deteriorating stage with the intake reaching as high as 1200 in just CSE(in 2017), fees increases every 3 years(for new ppl only, the fee at which you join is const. for the 4 years) without any improvement in the average quality of professors.

Conclusion - If you have no other public university options you could join here, but you'll have to pave your way yourself.
