Declared as the "oldest restaurant", we really enjoyed spending the evening at Botin, the food was great (we had the set menu with the suckling pig - absolutely delicious!), great atmosphere, it was a treat! We arrived around 10pm on a Friday night without reservation and we were lucky to get in as the place was fully booked in another 30min. Highly recommend.
