I went into the store tonight with my youngest (just under two) looking for an ice cream cake. My wife has had a really hard day coping with some things involving change, and I decided this morning I was going to surprise her with a "party" in her honor thanking her for all the hard work she has done (just the kids and myself). I should have already known that you have to order cakes in advanced, but it slipped my mind until I read the sign on the cooler door. The staff was extremely nice and one even offered to call my wife and tell her "thank you". Because I had already filled my oldest son in on the surprise plot and it was timely with how it was today she was having a rough time, I didn't feel like I could postpone the family size surprise so I ran down the road to Kroger.

Good people, always good custard and frozen dessert.
