An appointment for a test drive at 10 am, because all kinds of things such as door opening other building stuff suits and show me the price, I could only go to 1030 "test drive". Once at the car showed that the battery was empty, but fortunately this was soon rectified. Then find out that the tank is empty. So first had to be refueled. So I asked if there was no gas station around here, but apparently they are filling up at a gas station that was a lot further away. That would mean that in 1040 I was able to ride only.
I had planned that I would leave at 11 am because my nephew was bringing me and he had to work that day.

Have I lost 3 hours of my day and have I had to incur around 20th in costs for 2 A4s with packages of a car that I have not driven?

ps: they do have a wide range of cars, but don't think it will help you if it happens that way more often.
