Parma Officer with badge #35 stopped me today when I was driving 25 mph on State Rd. and asked for my driver license that he wanted to check. I did not break any possible rule so I thought it is may be a routine check. When I asked him why am I stopped, his response was so outrageous I lost speaking ability. He claimed that I have TWO VIOLATIONS: TINTED WINDOWS and NO FRONT LICENCE PLATE. My car is 14 years old. When I bought it, car already had tinted windows and no means to put the licence plate on. in any NORMAL CITY WITH NORMAL POLICE DEPARTMENT these violations would result a warning, not in PARMA, OH. I WAS ISSUED A TICKET!! THIS PRACTICE IS SHAMEFUL AND IT IS A PURE EXTORTION. IT SHOULD BE STOPPED.
