My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pullman Paris Centre-Bercy during our latest trip to Paris and highly enjoyed our stay. Initially we were a bit worried about the accommodations as we have never heard of the Pullman Hotels, but we now realize that it is essentially the Marriott of European Hotels. The Hotel is located away from major tourist attractions, however, it is a short walking distance to a Train Station which made commuting a breeze. The Location is also conveniently located within short walking distance of several dining options and shops which was convenient. Upon walking inside we were immediately impressed by the stylish decor of the hotel. An English-speaking Staff Member checked us in and was able to fulfill our request for a room on a higher floor. The room was comfortable and clean, although perhaps not as stylish as the rest of the hotel. As a light sleeper, I was pleased with how quiet the hallway and neighboring rooms were. During our stay we had the opportunity to spend time in the sauna near the pool which was a highlight of the trip as we love saunas and there was a bit of a spa vibe. We also enjoyed playing ping pong at the two ping pong tables located near the elevators. The Hotel seemed to accommodate a lot of business professionals and had minimal children during our stay which was a plus for us as at the time we lived by Walt Disney World and wanted a break away from kids. Be prepared to pay the City Occupancy Tax upon checking out.
