purchased a custom sofa from hd in may. I sat with a designer and an hd sales person for almost 2 hours making measurements. I made the purchase in june so the sofa would be ready by oct for our party. In sept I was asked to drive to the warehouse to check out the sofa before delivery. It was made with incorrect measurements. I told the builder and he got the measurement out and realized it was made wrong. The filling was also nothing like the couch we sat on in hd. I told him the cushions were extremely firm. He said he would correct the couch by the weekend.
The weekend came and went. So did the next one. I reached out to coda the company making the sofa...no response.
Finally they responded giving deadlines that came and went. Finally weeks later they said the couch was ready.
I came in and saw all the legs were chipped and broken. The couch was like sitting on concrete and the designer at coda told me they accidentally did a single wrap when it was meant to be a double wrap.
I also noticed the couch had no springs, instead it was webbing, which we did not order. The floor model we liked and used as reference had springs. Coda said they just recently stopped using springs to save on costs. She said the proper cushions that they messed up on will make it feel softer.
We were skeptical this couch was ever going to get made correctly, but agreed to give it another chance. Again weeks go by with many ignored emails. They finally contact us to come in a 3rd time. This time I sat on the couch and Stephanie from Coda looked at me and said "it feels really hard still huh?" I said "yes". She said I thought so too which is why I already ordered you new cushions and they will be here tomorrow. Ummmm..... whaaaattt?! Why did I drive 2 hours round trip when you knew it wasn't up to par. I left and called Hd, my sales rep said we could do an exchange. I came into the store 2 separate times to find a replacement. I finally asked for a refund because now it was November and i didn't trust that the couch would be done. It felt so uncomfortable and cheaply made. I had sold my old sofa and we had gone without one for 4 months.

It is now almost March of the following year and I have made dozens of calls to Hd with no response. No manager has ever contacted us. We have paid 4200.00 for delivery and a sofa they couldn't make right. We are still waiting on a refund and a phone call.
