My unoccupied vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident while parked on a Dover Street. Response was quick, but there wasn't much in the way of subsequent investigation. When I attempted to obtain a police report, I was told that there would be a $25 charge. Why are police reports behind a paywall? It's really scary to think that these police can limit access to public records in this way, and I hope that the citizens of Dover push to change this policy.
