This is the second purchase that I have made with Godwin Motors. The first purchase was great but this second has been horrible so far. I purchased a 2016 Jeep Compass on 4/17/21. I did not pick it up from the dealership until 4/19/21 and immediately noticed that the truck was skipping. I called and spoke to Issac. He told me to bring it back. As I continue to drive it, the A/C was discover not to be working. This was supposedly had been serviced before I purchased it. I asked this prior to purchasing it. I took the truck back for repairs on 4/22/21. The A/C was suppose to be fix and I was told that the skipping was not a skip but was just how the transmission of those trucks operate. Well the very next day the A/C was out AGAIN!!! I was told they it possible another leak was there. I live nearly an hour away from the dealership and work at a school so weekends are my only days off. I contact Issac AGAIN and sat up a Saturday appointment. Please understand each time I speak to him he sounds nonchalant and as if I am ranting about issues that are unimportant. My husband decides to take the truck down on 4/29/21 before his appointment. I called on 4/28/21 that evening to let them know and the young lady said the change was fine. When my husband gets there he says that Issac would not let him want inside. Please understand that this is the same place that my mother, my son 20 year old son, and myself just wanted in for 2 hours in a few days ago. He said Issac stated that they could only have a few people inside the office. He was only person waiting! It would be hours before my truck would be ready. My husband also told him about the skipping again and he brushed it off. I called angry by the treated of my husband. Issac being his nonchalant self defended the fact that he wasn't expecting the truck and that it had a warranty and they were fixing it. My point still remains, why sell something they was not already fix . As I stated to him, they will be expecting my payment on time on the 17th. I truly regret my purchase.
