After 30 years of driving and being insured with another, more reputable company, I went through United Auto Insurance to try and save some money and lower my rates. They brokered me to this company, American Freedom Insurance-BY FAR THE WORST INSURANCE I HAVE HAD IN 30 YEARS OF DRIVING!!!! Do NOT purchase from them if you ever plan to actually use the insurance. They will not communicate with you at all. You will not get your calls answered (wait for 30 minutes to be sent to voicemail) or your messages returned. I have been waiting for 5 weeks now just to speak with someone and get information on my claim I filed the same day of my accident. I call a minimum of 4 times a week just to leave a message or be given the run around that the team handling my claim is unavailable and no one else can help me. I have requested a call back from a supervisor and manager, never have received the call. My car is STILL not authorized to be fixed even though they have all required documentation from me. It took them 3 weeks just to call me and get my recorded statement even though we had a scheduled date and time call that they never called on. 5 weeks without returned phone calls or being able to get my car fixed is absolutely ridiculous. My policy is paid in full so you should at a minimum be able to communicate with me and return a phone call.
