As I entered the hotel I was greeted by the parking/valet staff, very friendly and helpful. They took care of me outside and asked if I wanted valet or self park, I paid and that was it. The check in process was quick, I got up to my room (314), For some reason the carpet smelled like wet mop.. It wasn't overwhelming and I'm assuming it was the carpet but it was a bit unpleasant.. The Room was clean, some of the furniture seemed old fashioned but the bed was comfortable. One thing I noticed and I took a picture of it, look like somebody spit a lugi on the wall and they forgot to clean it and they just dry. Again I'm assuming that's what it is. Most importantly the bathroom was spotless. What was nice was using the toilet. Every time you flush, a pleasant smell of flowers erupted. It's nice when that happens, specially after a wet explosion with a splash factor 9. I usually travel with my own soap and I'm glad I did this time, I hate the soap provided in this hotel. It feels like you need to wash your hands 10x to get it off. It leaves your skin feeling oily and wet. Other than that my stay was nice and pleasant, it's a little confusing to get into the hotel due to the construction that's going on but not bad.
