Underwhelmed and somewhat annoyed, we just checked out. The room was ok, but at almost $200 a night I would have expected a little more. I was charged my full stay up front but noticed daily acrueing charges to my bank account. I was told they charge a daily $50.00 secuirity fee aside from the cost of the room after they began to appear in my account and I questioned it. my wife was not happy after the first night and wanted to leave to find a room that better suited our needs . I was told they would not refund the days that were paid in advance at check in, so I decided to just grin and bear it rather than pay twice.
at check out there was a $70 charge from the resturaunt that we never stepped foot in added to my room, when Io told Bryce, the attendent that I had not ordered or been to the resturaunt during our stay he looked at me like I was lying to him. also we were given the option for valet at $22 per night at check in but declined. the manager agreed to waive the valet charge for the valet on my wifes truck.
At check out they added the charge. fortunatley the gentlemen who checked me in walked by as I began to dispute the added charges. the valet charge and the charge from the resturaunt were removed but the attendant seemed more upset about it than I was. he informed me they would not be removed upon my next stay. i informed him there would not be a next stay. he said that was fine. although these problems were resolved the attitude in which they were handled is my issue. I would have been better off spending $60.00 a night at a la Quinta. first and last time staying at Hyatt Regency.
