This place was definitely lots of fun. Packed but everything in LA is... Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can touch sting rays, little sharks, jellyfish, and starfish. There was a long line for the starfish tank. There is a bird place that you have to wait in line for and pay to get into. That was weird. They had a 3D globe screen in one of their screening rooms that showed a mini documentary called "resilient cities" which is really the most positive way to spin that the world is overpopulated and we are destroying our health and our ecosystem for the sake of building buildings and fancy infrastructure (killing wildlife and ending authentic human connection)... Even after natural disasters happen we somehow insist on spending trillions of dollars (and our wellbeing) on rebuilding... Even my husband said it was depressing. Not sure what the takeaway of that was. But whatever. Overall the aquarium was fun and informative.
