On arriving at the hotel and collecting our room keys we found our room door open and discovered it was being used as a show room for potential wedding customers. The room therefore was not a 100% as expected. The hotel team were extremely apologetic and after being disturbed a few more times by different nembers of the team we found a nice bottle of wine awaiting us on our return from the Spa. Nice touch. We enjoyed our stay except for our evening meal in the restaurant, it felt like we were seated in a corner away from the main restaurant and found the waiters attitude a little arrogant and this did affect the whole of the experience especially as this trip was booked as a birthday celebration present for my partner. The team in the morning at breakfast were far more forthcoming to our needs and were a lot friendlier and this was very pleasing. On leaving the hotel the guest liaison manager cane to us and once more apologised for the mix up on our room. A new leisure complex is being built and I would love to return in the future to experience this.
