Barilla offer both dinners cooked by chefs as well as cooking demonstrations. Enjoyed the pleasure of doing both.

The dinner experience was cooked by Aldo Ortado who was in Masterchef this year. His Italian flair shows through in the cooking and it was a nice evening. There was an antipasto table set up and drinks too. Highlighting Barilla products we were treated to three courses. The first course was a bruschetta type of dish that had pesto and mortadella. Second course was casarecce with eggplant and tomato sauce topped with an aged ricotta. Third course was a play on tiramisu with nutella, cream, and Pan Di Stelle Cocoa Cookies. It was quite an interesting evening with lovely communal tables to mingle on.

The cooking demo s theme was Pesto Three Ways. With a tv screen to view the cooking demo it was easy to follow. The Chefs Danny and John were a hoot to watch and very informative. They were hands on and were measured in demonstrating the techniques and hints to improve our cooking. The benches set up are great and the helpers constantly clear all the dirty equipment and replenish the benches with clean equipment. Utensils are within easy on the bench and in the drawers. We re offered drinks and is a very enjoyable day. The chefs wander around to check on you and offer any assistance you may need.
