So, as a York native, I love Maple Donuts. I went through a phase when Dunkin' was new-ish to the area, where I ate their donuts thinking they were somehow better. Maple's donuts are heavier than Dunkin's. Not surprising as they are similar in recipe and texture to a fastnacht. The variety available at this location is astounding, and they regularly have day olds available at a severe discount for the cheapskates out there. The only problem with this place is the fact that they feel the need to wear their politics all over town and in the store. It's great that the owner feels some sort of way about America, but all I want is a tasty pastry. Nonetheless, the snacks are good, and the coffee is decent. Not much more is needed from a donut shop.
