This place is on the list of the top three hotels in the world for me. It s not just the design or the standard of service, it s the concierge team that make it feel like home. My room was big, well appointed with a view of the Edinburgh castle.
The concierge planned our stay and helped us with the restaurant reservations. David, the head guy was so competent and helpful and Kenny was the guy with the heart and insights into the Highlands.
Their spa was great, our masseuse who was experienced in sports massage gave the best deep tissue massage I have had in Europe.
The room service was excellent (except for the burger that came with bacon when that was not on the description and a hot toddy that tasted horrible)
