The Palace is not at all a "historic" building. Built by the king in 1944 by spending 94 lakh rupees

A sensible person may get highly disappointed on looking at the extravagant expenses done by the king when India was under British rule ( the situation of the farmers was miserable and the source of income of "his highness" was the tax to be paid by traders and farmers.)

Be aware, this is not a government monument or building. It's the "personal property" of the king.

Tickets will cost you Rs. 30 per person in case you are an Indian else it will cost Rs. 100. The major things you will see shall include the pictures of the king(s) predominantly the present king and the social work done by them, the gifts presented to the king by britishers etc.
