I leased for 12 months at LBJ station in Dallas and hadn t had to many issues until towards the end. When I moved out I left an item behind in my unit, when I called the office Michael assured me that it would be held for me in the office until I could come pick it up along with a package that had been mailed to me. Yesterday I called to let them know that I would be on my way and Courtney confirmed that they would be there waiting for me when I arrived. A few minutes later I got a call back from Michael saying that he had accidentally placed the item near the trash and housekeeping had thrown it away... Needless to say this was extremely frustrating because I had double and triple checked that it would be held safely with them. Cortney and Vanessa (the new manager) both said that there was nothing that they could do because it was an accident, I was never even offered an apology. Now I am left to pay out of pocket to replace the item due the carelessness and irresponsible nature of the leasing staff. I m very disappointed in the lack of communication and basic human empathy these apartment complex employees have. If you re looking for a trustworthy and dependable place to lease, this is not the company for you.
